Boronia Cricket Club was established in 1923 and was located in Park Crescent, Boronia. In 1977 we relocated to our current home at Tormore Road. The club fields five Senior Men’s sides, three in the Eastern Cricket Association (Turf), two in the Ringwood District Cricket Association (Synthetic) and five Junior Sides in the Ringwood District Cricket Association. We also run a Milo Cricket Program. The aim of our club is to play competitive cricket in an enjoyable environment, as well as to promote and foster the game of cricket within our local area.

TURF CRICKET (1st XI, 2nd XI & 3rd XI)
Boronia has three teams that play in the very competitive Eastern & Mercantile Cricket Associations turf divisions. The season starts early October and finishes in March (Finals). The 1XI, 2XI both play 7 two-day matches and 7 one-day games on Saturdays for the season (Refer to current fixtures for more information). The two day games are played across successive Saturdays with 80 over innings on each day. The one day games are played 40 overs an innings. The 3rd XI play in a Sunday One-Day competition which consists of 45 overs per innings. Boronia also play T20 matches throughout November and December on Tuesday evenings. These competitions hold a very good standard of cricket with all our young stars longing to represent Boronia at this level.
SYNTHETIC CRICKET (4XI AND 5XI)
Our 4’s and 5th’s represent Boronia in the Ringwood District Cricket Association, playing their home games at Colchester Reserve, Boronia. These sides are great for aging juniors, skilled seniors or the cricket tragic. The 5th XI is also on many occasions a great place for fathers and sons to play together. The structure of these matches are similar to the ECA, though they only play 70 overs for two day games and 35 overs of one day matches. All senior sides train together twice a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) at Tormore Road.
OUR VETERAN’S SIDE - Not fielding a side in the 2018-19 season
This is for players over the age of 40. Games are played fortnightly on a Sunday (starting at 1.00pm) usually commencing the last Sunday in October. All games are played in good spirit and whilst the desire to win is always present, enjoying the afternoon of cricket is also important.
Training is optional.
The Junior BLAST Program (formally Milo In2Cricket)
Offers children aged 5 to 8 years the opportunity to kick start their cricket career, learn lots of new cricket skills like batting, bowling, catching and throwing, as well as social skills allowing them to make new friends and most importantly – HAVE FUN! It is held on Fridays at Tormore Road Reserve.
Under 10 Non Competitive Program
For boys and girls who are under 10 years of age and are ready to play in full cricket attire and have the basic skills to play inter-club cricket. This is a non competitive Program focused on player development and fun. Matches are home and away and played on Friday nights from 5:30pm to 7.30pm. Training is once a week.

Under 14, 16 Competitive Program
Games are played on Saturday mornings & consist of mainly two day games played over two weekends. We try hard to ensure that all our players participate at a level that is appropriate for their skill & experience. This competition has produced a number of players who have gone on to play junior representative cricket and is an acknowledged pathway to senior cricket at local, sub-district and premier levels. All our coaches are experienced and accredited. The competitive season starts in October and finishes in March with a break over the Christmas holiday period. Training is once a week. Juniors can also play in senior games.
Competitive & Non-competitive players are required to wear club white tops & pants. Junior fees cover player insurance & ground fees.
